Celebrating my anniversary at this hotel was an unforgettable experience. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with breathtaking views that made the stay truly special. The added touches, like a handwritten note and complimentary bottle of champagne, exemplified exceptional service. However, my arrival was marred by communication issues at check-in that left a sour taste, and the restaurant manager’s inability to assist was notable. On the final note, the succulent steaks at dinner were a high point worth mentioning.

The Boathouse offers a charming atmosphere, with beautifully decorated rooms and stunning waterfront views that truly enhance the experience. The dining options were excellent. I enjoyed fresh seafood for dinner. The location is incredibly convenient, allowing easy access to local shops and restaurants while maintaining a peaceful ambiance.
The room had limited storage space, which could be an issue for longer stays.

Couple seeking a great escape
The location of the property is perfect for walking downtown and we loved the waterside restaurant—the fresh seafood was a highlight!
It wasn’t cheap, but for the experience, I can’t complain too much.

missingWrote a review on 22 Augwaterfront accommodationsfresh seafoodcramped quarters
The waterfront accommodations offer stunning views of the serene waters, making mornings more enjoyable. The dining options are top-notch, with fresh seafood that truly shines during meals.
Climbing to the third floor is quite a trek, especially since there's no elevator in the Wharf House, which can be a hassle if you have heavy luggage. The tight quarters in the room leave little space to move around comfortably, and the bed’s mattress felt overly soft, leading to some back discomfort. Additionally, I encountered a shower that was cramped, making for a less than ideal experience. Basic amenities like a microwave and refrigerator were missing, which would have added convenience, particularly for longer stays.

Had an awesome time with friends here! We loved taking the Rugosa for a fun lobster boat tour. The rooms were cozy and the dining wasn’t anything short of fantastic. The food was a highlight, and breakfast was especially great. Remember, there's no laundry service available, so plan ahead!
Unfortunately, our room's sink didn’t drain well, which was pretty annoying.

Great location near local shops. The room was small and had some cleanliness issues. Enjoyed the complimentary bike rentals for exploring the area.

The location is excellent, making it easy to explore, and the welcome drinks were a nice touch. However, the room in the annex was quite noisy, and the decor felt outdated, which detracted from the experience. It would be a great choice for those seeking a bustling area, but improvements in room conditions and soundproofing are needed for a better stay.

Onsite parking availability, easy access to local attractions, waterfront accommodations
Check-in felt eerily silent with little to no staff presence!!! A deadbolt lock that didn’t function. Outdated room conditions, added to the list of concerns where improvements are much needed!!!

A lovely, spacious room with a good view! Service in the busy restaurant was quick and attentive.
Cleanliness was concerning due to stained carpets and hair in bathrooms, impacting the overall experience.

Just a commendable fit for a passing visit in Kennebunkport with decent value for money. Check-in was an adventure, as we had to visit the sister property, but it was manageable.
